The Magic Irrigation Ditch

On the way home from the baby blessing, Carlin found a fun game for the boys to play:

"Here, Troy. Go put this raisin box in the water over there."

"Like this, Dad?"
"Yup. Okay, quick! Come back over here!"

"Look, there it is again!"
"Wow!"

When they were done, we kept walking back to our apartment. Right before we crossed the street Ben tried putting a flower or something in the water. He got really mad when we all kept going and weren't waiting for the flower. We crossed the street dragging Ben the whole way. Carlin found another flower, distracted Ben, then threw it in the water. "Look, Ben! Look! It came out on the other side!" He was satisfied and life went on.
